Chiang Mai Montessori International School has been offering a full Montessori curriculum to children aged 18 months to 12 since 2010.

The Montessori approach to education provides a uniquely child centered environment where teachers create opportunities for children to take control of their learning through self-direction and exploration.

By offering our children a mixture of attractive hands-on learning materials and a wide range of interesting real life, authentic activities our programs promote independence and cultivate a love of learning from an early age.

Our campus facilities include new bright and spacious classrooms with integrated air cleaning systems, an art studio, an organic kitchen garden, the WOWS! nature learning centre.

18 Months to 12 Years

Toddler Community

Ages 1.5 to 3

Our Montessori class for toddlers is a secure group setting of up to twelve children and up to three attentive staff members. The Toddler Community is individual focus in a warm, supportive and homelike environment.

Children’s House

Ages 3 to 6

All members of this expanded community of 3 to 6-year-olds thrive through opportunities to follow their own interest, freely choose their own activities, develop their capacity for concentration, and engage at their own pace their emerging powers of reason, imagination, and sociability.

Elementary

Ages 6 – 12

Montessori elementary is a warm community: a multi-age, stimulating environment with materials that invite exploration and research. Children learn to face challenges with confidence, and begin to find their own place in the world around them.
